Welcome to Independent Study! These courses are offered through print-based correspondence. For classification purposes, students registered in these courses between the dates above will be considered Fall 2008 students. They are self-paced and allow students 6 months to complete from the time of registration.

Please note that no verification of enrollment or loan deferments can be processed for the semester following initial enrollment, even though the student may have six months to complete the course.

 Students using financial aid should be aware their deadlines for completion may be different than Continuing Education deadlines. They may check with Student Financial Services at 719-549-2753 for more information.

• The first day to register for Fall 2008 classes is August 1, 2008.
• The last day to register for Fall 2008 classes for self-pay students is November 26, 2008.  Please Note:  Due to the closing processes for Fall 2008, registrations will not be accepted after 12 pm (noon).
• The first date to register for Spring 2009 courses is December 15, 2008.
