This course was developed to examine sexuality and sexual conduct from a sociological and social psychological perspective.
The course is designed to provide a broad overview of social issues surrounding sexuality, fundamentally a private facet of human existence.
Topics examined in the course include contexts in which sexual choices are made, health and reproductive choices, and the diversity of sexual
choices as found in popular culture, in addition to the application of major socio-theoretical perspectives to the various issues surrounding
human sexuality and social behavior
