Summer Term Dates are May 1, 2012 through July 15, 2012
- The first day to register for the Summer 2012 classes is May 1st.
- The last day for Financial Aid Students to register for Summer 2012 is May 11th, 2012.
- The last day for self-pay students to register for Summer 2012 classes is July 15th, 2012. No registrations will be processed after 5:00 p.m. on this date.
- The first day to register for the Fall 2012 classes is August 1st, 2012.

Welcome to Independent Study! These courses are offered through print-based correspondence. For classification purposes, students registered in these courses between the dates above will be considered Summer 2012 students. Courses are self-paced and allow students 6 months to complete from the time of registration.
Please note that no verification of enrollment or loan deferments can be processed for the semester following initial enrollment, even though the student may have six months to complete the course.
Students using financial aid should be aware their deadlines for completion may be different than Continuing Education deadlines. They may check with Student Financial Services at 719.549.2753 for more information.
IMPORTANT NOTE TO STUDENTS USING FINANCIAL AID:
Please be aware that if you are using the Pell grant to pay for your courses, your aid will not be disbursed until you have completed 50% of your course. ALL financial aid students should check with Student Financial Services (719.549.2753) to determine when they must have their courses completed.
