MKTG 340 - Principles of Marketing

DESCRIPTION
By the end of the semester, students will be thoroughly familiar with the basic concepts of marketing and will have a solid foundation for other upper level courses in marketing. The course is aimed to introduce students to the marketing concept and convert non-marketers to marketers.

REQUIRED MATERIALS & TEXTBOOKS
Book MARKETING by William Zikmund and Michael D’Amico, 7th edition, West Publishing C.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS
  • The course will cover all the chapters in the book.

  • Three (3) tests - TEST 1 COVERS CHAPTER 1-7. TEST 2 COVERS CHAPTER 8-14. FINAL TEST COVERS CHAPTER 15-20.

  • Two (2) case studies.

  • Two (2) company analysis.

  • One project.
