Explores the study of the Earth, its origin, composition, and processes by integrating many physical interrelationships using a holistic
approach. The physical elements and processes comprising the environment: energy, air, water, weather, climate, landforms, soils,
animals, plants, and the Earth itself, as well as elements of astronomy, will be examined. As a spatial human-Earth science, this
course is in a unique position among sciences to synthesize and integrate the vast physical science disciplines. Only through relevant
education can an informed citizen learn about the life-sustaining environment that surrounds us all. E-mail available. Co- requisite:

This laboratory course allows each student the opportunity to apply scientific principles, methods, and tools to better understand
and relate basic concepts in developing a stronger understanding of Earth processes. This lab is supported by the material/text used
