ED 522 – Current Issues in Education

DETAILS Semester-hour credits: 2 Tuition: $299 Methods: DESCRIPTION This Independent Study course offers you the flexibility to research findings on a topic(s) of most interest and benefit to you. REQUIRED MATERIALS & TEXTBOOKS Library Sources. A textbook is not required. COURSE REQUIREMENTS Consider one or more of the topics from the attached list and develop a professionally written report. You are to submit a prospectus for approval. This guideline suggests that at least 60 hours of time should be devoted to the subject as an independent study. Although there is no clock hour verification, the quality of the completed paper should be representative of a conscientious effort. Rule of thumb would say that twenty-five, double spaced, typed pages is a minimum. The number of references should be as many as twenty-five, but no fewer than twelve. PLEASE NOTE: You must complete this course within six months of your registration date. If you are using Financial Aid, you must complete the course within the semester you register in. Extensions are not granted for students using Financial Aid.
