DESCRIPTION
Education Across Cultures is designed to conduct an analysis of Multiculturalism and how the educational process can be adapted children or older populations of diverse cultural backgrounds. The registrant has the option to identify the range and kinds of issues associated with Multicultural teaching/learning concerns K-16, or developing Multicultural learning activities that educators can implement K-12. By permission, the graduate standing student in a non-teaching profession may propose research in selected topics associated with diversity. Special projects not requiring library research must be approved by the professor of record.

REQUIRED MATERIALS & TEXTBOOKS
Library Sources. A textbook is not required.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS
  • The registrant is required to produce a written document (written research paper) that is of acceptable format and writing style at the university level. For example, MLA style has been the guide for some eighty professional journals and is certainly acceptable. A general rule of thumb in number of pages is 25-30. However, there is no minimum or maximum requirement in length.
