DESCRIPTION
Designed as a complete overview of the field of education. Provides the historical, philosophical and sociological dimensions of education; including legal and financial challenges associated with the teaching profession. Foundations includes the comprehensive study of educational theories, practices, and issues in relation to the general fields of sociology, psychology, history, philosophy, and law. On-line course, students need Internet connection of at least 56K and Netscape 4.0+ or Internet Explorer 5.0+. Course follows regular semester dates. Registration must be completed by August 1 for Fall Semester and by January 1 for Spring Semester. Please contact the Division of Continuing Education for course availability and space availability.
