DESCRIPTION
Chemical discoveries and their impact on our way of life. Thirteen video broadcasts of one hour each with correlated assigned readings from the course text.

Investigations of nature and accompanying human-caused changes have produced the world that we live in today. Applications of chemical knowledge fundamentally affect our every day life. The body of knowledge that we call chemistry is a rich and fascinating field of theory and fact which has been accumulated through laboratory experimentation. Chemistry explains life itself. This course is a celebration of that body of knowledge.
