Program Requirements

To be admitted, prospective students must meet the minimum requirements:

  • Students must have, at a minimum, 13 credits of transferable, accredited courses. It is preferred that students have an associate’s degree to insure that the lower level courses have been completed.

  • Transferable credits must have, at a minimum, a GPA of 2.3.

  • Students who have less than 13 credits, a GPA below 2.3, or unaccredited courses may register as an independent study student, but cannot be admitted to the External Degree Completion Program until the minimum requirements have been met.

  • Students applying as a degree-seeking student must apply by:

      August 1st for Fall
      January 2 for Spring
      May 1 for Summer

      After these deadlines, applicants will be processed, but students will not be officially admitted to the program until the following semester. Students may still enroll in courses prior to the official admission, but cannot be considered a degree-seeking student for financial aid.
